Artificial of robotics that AI have the potential

Artificial Intelligence has a huge impact on social aspect. They might replace a range of current jobs supplanted. By the year of 2025, professional roles like doctors, lawyer or accountancy could be replaced by Artificial Intelligence. This means that AI and robotic would potentially leads to job losses. Although that experts have variety of opinions for the impact that AI and robotics may effect on the workforce. While some of them have warmed that high probability of increasing the number of unemployment, others think AI may create new job categories. Therefore, any policy measure should have address the future of employment must account got the uncertainty of outcomes on employment. Also, by consideration of robotics that AI have the potential to become smarter than any human, therefore we cannot predict how it will behave in the future. People have never had same experience before which may lead to a bad situation for human. There is a risk that “the machines take over” and this loss of control is a significant risk which could be an existential crisis for humanity. There are many risks of AI as they will become more intelligent than humans which could get them to take over the world. Another risk would be security of the AI itself as it could get overridden by hackers and reprogrammed to do something else e.g. an unmanned drone could be overridden by a cyber terrorist group which will reprogram it for terrorist actions e.g. we could potentially have another 9-11 but on a larger scale.According to the article written by  Bianca Datta on Thu, 10 Aug 2017, if government come up with ‘excessive or inappropriate policies’ there is a possibility that it can fail to address real problems with the true challenges of AI and could also slow down the adoption of new tech. in 2016, a government report on preparing for AI and it future, says ‘ we are approaching a point at which regulation could create more of a bottleneck than the development technology itself for some advancements.’ This could be a problem and governments need to figure out a way to regulate AI while keeping it safe without slowing down the process. AI and robots are fed with large sets of data, this is used for deep learning. Through machine learning the Artificial Intelligence systems are able to mimic neurons, and by this we are able to teach the AI systems to perform set tasks. One way we could stay in control is by only providing the AI systems with data it needs in order to complete a particular task. This would mitigate the AI to have a mind of its own. Another way of controlling the AI is by developing a strict code which does not allow the AI from altering or developing its own code. For instance, if an AI become self-aware and it is able to interpret elements of the real world, this means the system can develop into Artificial general intelligence (AGI), a machine which is able to perform any intellectual task a human being can. If this was to happen then the AI will be beyond our control. Some people are fearful that the AI robots might perhaps take control of the humans due to their high intelligence, but Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg and Microsoft founder Bill Gates disagree, as they believe the technology for this scenario to happen is not yet advanced enough.Ai and robotics will have a significant impact on the global economy, it is estimated that around $15.7 trillion will be added to the world economy by the year 2030. According to the PwC report, to put that into perspective that’s more than china and India’s combined output. The global GDP was $74 trillion in 2015, it is estimated that it will increase by 14 percent by 2030 as a result of Ai, according to the PW’s projection According to Accenture Plc AI could possibly increase China’s annual growth rate by 1.6 percentage point to 7.9 percent by 2035 in terms of gross value added, a close proxy for GDP, adding more than $7 trillion, according to a report from Frontier Economics. With the ever so expanding technological advancements that us humans have reached granting Ai with the same human rights may be an issue within our society and can result in modern day slavery if Ai reaches the same Conscious level as humans. Saudi Arabia has granted citizenship to a robot in a move that appears to elevate its rights above those of women within the Middle Eastern country. The robot is called Sophia which was introduced in an investment summit in the capital Riyadh which was created by a Hong Kong based company Hanson Robotics.
