I wanted to create this website to educate some of my classmates about this disease.

This particular disease fits into the Grade 11 Biology Curriculum with the Coronary Arteries being apart of the circulatory system.   It occurs when the major blood vessels that supply your heart with blood, oxygen and nutrients (coronary arteries) become damaged or diseased.  In 2015,  Coronary Artery Disease affected 110 million people and killed 8.9 million people. It is the most common cause of death with a 15.9% of all deaths.
