“Crime and parent rely on the school systems

“Crime and Bad lives are the measures of a state’s failure, all crimes in the end are the crimes of the community”- H.G. Wells. The crucial moment of a child’s life is being young. This is because the mind is understanding the differentiation of good and bad. Children are also affected by their parents, since parents behavior acts as a model for a child to pick on. Overall, when a child is living in an impoverish environment and parents are working multiple jobs. The children get more affected by the environment, because their parents are not there for them on a constant  This means parents are unable to spend time with their kids and parent rely on the school systems for their child’s education. Furthermore, a child usually spends 5 to 6 hours in school learning diverse range of subjects.Being in a impoverish school district the children are unable to get the potential funding to have extracurricular activities that would divert their attention and explore more options in school. When children end up going home their minds tend to explore the vast options provided in their community, rather than their schools. When schools are unable to offer extracurricular activities they are usually influenced by drugs and gang recruitment, which slowly starts to make a child adapt to the presented environment. Children living in poverty are more prone to commit crimes because they are surrounded by  substandard opportunities, which is not conducive environment for them to rise from poverty and gives the  idea to committing crime for survival. Unstable environment leads children to perceive that negative deportments is acceptable in the community. The growing period of a child life is very essential, due to the atmosphere they live and  develop  to commence being used to. But growing up is just a phase, because if a child lacks good role models in their childhood, then  this incline to a conception that deplorable deportment is okay and presentable in the community. This means that every behavior from a parent  is being observed from the child, and this is quite important, because when a parent struggle to make a living in the poor areas and a child does not understand the concept of saving money. Not just this but a child then becomes to look at their parents less but more towards to their friends. Living in poor community a child slowly becomes to criticize themselves for being poor and unable to obtain the same things as their friends. This slowly triggers the child’s self esteem and confidence and they start being less focus on school and try to shape themselves up and create their own identity, because the educational system fails to carry out more options for a child to explore. Disproportion of funding in education excludes children from opportunities, which leaves them vulnerable to gang recruitment. Children from the earliest age of 5 began to  go to preschool, from there on they learn and learn and wish to get the equal opportunities as other students. But it is much different for those kids who are living in the poor area and lack the opportunities to get the full benefit of good education. The results are simple, poor education gives a child no other option, but get influence from the environment. When children get an exposure to a better education, they are more then happy to explore their opportunities and not feel oppressed by their presented situation of being poor and are able to uprise. Children who do not have the opportunity to have a after school program in their schools are much likely to divert their attention and join gangs because children spend at most 6 to 7 hours in school and the rest are unstructured free time, which they are unable to use wisely. This unstructural free time affects children living in poor area to experience something they have never tried before. Apparently, a child challenges them themselves to put themselves in a situation, where schools would not do total exposed to drugs, since it is wrong, but schools are unable to make a huge impact in impoverish children’s life because end of the day gangs seems glamorous and they decide to join,due to schools making it obvious that they are unable to uprise from their situation and are unable to have a better living and from this message they began to confirm that message given. The education systems profits get distributed in the community from racial profiling, which leaves one unable to uprise from their situation. When it comes to a child picking education and gangs, a child would pick gangs. The reason would be that in gangs there is not inequality for race. White, schools in the United States are unfunded in the minority areas mostly due to the students being poor and the lack of resources for the schooling fundings. Not just that Rich schools are able to receive more through taxes, where poor schools receive less. Receiving money is not only distributed because of poor areas, but it is distributed because the money presented is mostly from based on the race and the income of the family. The money distributed to schools are not given because a certain school has potential to give a better education, but the distribution occurs based on a parent’s income and the race, but not only that, the area the school is located at determines whether the money will help more of the rich or the poor. The disposition of fundings occurring in much bias way possible, because the establishment of a stigma that poor children do not have a chance to transform their lives, this establishes that the rich children are much of a better investment towards the funding.The disportion of the funding generates a unequal education for all children. But if that number is divided then the difference can be laid out that there is 251 poor district and 250 rich district, which put the less money to good use by not providing more activities to help students able to enjoy their childhood. Although, $4,912 does not seem to much per students in minority areas, but it is alot, for a school to invest for better education choices.But money also gets put into paying teachers and other school resources, that minority students barely get the chance to get full experience of education.Some poor children are lucky to get out of poverty and work to a upper status, such as Leonardo DiCaprio, but some just blend in and confirm the presented stereotypes. Some people may argue that overall environment influences one to overcome from poverty and uprise from failure. When a child is living in a violent environment they do not necessary go in to gang recruitment, because a good example would be Leonardo Dicaprio,a article written by Daily Mail Reporter on I was a very poor kid’: Leonardo DiCaprio reveals he grew up in a violent Los Angeles neighbourhood filled with drugs and prostitution showed that he was a poor kid, who grew up in a violent neighborhood in Los Angeles. Although, he was bullied in public school, his desire to be in Hollywood, made him do auditions and now he has a net worth of 235 million dollars. Although, Leonardo Dicaprio did not become a gang member or a drug addict, he had motivation to change his life. The reality of life is that parents have to juggle their work, their lives and they have to think of earning and missing a day of work for one parent can mean that a electricity,water and rent would not have to be paid in time. Parents try to give their child a good life, but not all kids can be lucky like Leonardo Dicaprio. Leonardo DiCaprio’s mother, Irmelin worked extremely hard to give her the child the opportunity which  she was unable to receive. When her son went to his mother with a desire to be someone, she did not put his desire down like other parents, but she juggled with her job and took her son to an audition. Although, Leonardo Dicaprio had a option to justify the stigma of children in poverty become gang members, he did not do that because he had motivation. As growing up Leonardo DiCaprio called his place “Scumsville”, he responded to the influences he was getting from drug dealers and prostitution world around him. He wished for transformation and still maintain the desire to become someone big and able to advance himself through the social ladder, although he had accounted failures in his way, he did not let social stigma characterize his future. Leonardo DiCaprio was lucky enough to have a parent who would support his wishes, because parents in poor areas only wish to survive through the day and wish the safety of their family. As a child grows they are unaware of their future and poverty gives them a racial stigma that they are unable to uprise and become better. A child’s brain is like a white piece of paper and anything can be written. Hence, what a child views at age of 2 through 5, they are prone to respond to a situation in that way. Therefore, when a child grows up in a poverty area they are given a stereotype, that a certain minority group is prone to drugs and gangs. Over the course of years when poor districts are unable to get good fundings and cannot afford extracurricular activities, a child’s minds diverts and they are verifying that stereotype. If education started to give all students the same opportunities, regardless of the fact of being in the rich or poor district. More children would be off the streets and off to college for a better future. If a child got a chance to reform their life, they would, but the school systems fails to give every child the equal opportunity to support them and prove that poor neighborhoods are able to transform their life and work themselves up the social ladder.
