12}29/13 New Year’s Resolutions Why is it so hard to keep a New Year’s resolution? DO we make unrealistic goals for ourselves? Or do we make our resolutions right before the clock strikes 12 Without really thinking them through? Even know haven’t been very good at keeping my resolutions for the New Year in the past, am firm about keeping and following through With my promises therefore three resolutions that I am determined to follow through on are to getting my license, exercising daily, and applying to colleges.
First, getting a license is a big deal in a teenager’s life.In this New Year, 2014, am setting a goal for myself to get my license. Already have my permit, so am one step closer to reaching my goal. Getting my license would benefit my parents. Could help them out with grocery shopping or running other errands while their busy. It would benefit my siblings as well. I could pick them up from school if they don’t want to ride the hour long bus ride home, or drop off my little brother at preschool if my mom needs to get stuff done arced the house.
I could also help my mom out when my siblings go out. 0 pm is usually to late for them to pick p my 13-yearned siblings ATA friends house, so I could pick her up. Having my license would benefit me as well, I wouldn’t have to ask my mom for a ride to a friend’s house, so I could drive myself. Getting my license would not just benefit me, but would also benefit my parents and siblings.
Second, experts all over the world recommend exercising daily. Another goal have is to begin exercising daily. It would help strengthen my core, which would help With many things that are going on With my body.It would help With the constant stomach pains I have. My doctor recommended that I do exercises hat strengthen my core, but keep holding it Off. Exercising daily would also help with staying healthy.
I want to be as healthy as possible. Exercising would also build up my immunity. I also want to exercise daily so I can run a Ski With my Dad without stopping. Exercising daily would strengthen my core, build up my immunity, and help me run a k without stopping.
Finally, applying to colleges is huge. It is very exciting. It gets your mind going knowing that it is real and you are growing up.Some of my friends graduated last year and they said applying to colleges was a great experience, it did get trustful waiting for the reply back, but it all worth it in the end when they all got to go to the colleges they wanted too.
Going to college is important it you want a successful future. Want to get my nursing degree and get a job at CHOP (Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia). Won’t be able to get a successful job if don’t go to college, so applying to college is the most important part in starting your future. Applying to college is important for not just you, but also your parents. My parents want to see me succeed and want to show them what have to offer. I want to go to Pittsburgh university, but am also interesting in other colleges as well. I want to apply to at least 15 colleges so I have a Wide variety of choices.
Applying to college is not just important for you but also for the people that love you. College is a big part Of life. Getting my license, exercising daily, and applying to colleges are three realistic and important goals for me. I know that now I have a better chance Of making my resolutions happen because planned them out in a reasonable way. With dedication and determination, how can possibly fail?
