I’ve been living in New York City for almost four years now.
I work here, go to school here and even made some new friends and I’m kind of start to feel like a real new Yorker; Using the subway everyday, eating pizza and hot dogs in Central Park and experiment the mixture of cultures in this great city just make me feel like I belong to the city. But what I did notice is that this city is always growing and changing. My first impression of living in this great city was:NYC is more than just Times Square and Broadway but it has 5 boroughs, some of them bigger than my hometown. But not only that,as soon as I get off from the airport I noticed that people who live here are constantly moving fast, crazy fast, faster than any place I ha ever been.In my opinion as a traveler, when you spend your first weeks in the city you’ll notice that NYC is full of different ethnics and cultures, even religions that I didn’t know that they exist but they all live and are part of this great land. Also notice that truly New Yorkers love pizza and hot dogs.
I live in the borough of Brooklyn, my neighborhood is called Crown Heights, it’s located right next to Prospect Park andIt has a main way called Eastern Parkway. Indeed the neighborhood has changed a lot since I got here, now we have more bars and restaurants and most of the principal chain-stores are opening branches in the hood. We can talk about so many things that probably influenced on people to make those changes; one of them could be the cost of living, because in order to get a magnification of their incomes, home owners are remodeling and refurbishingapartments and commercial stores so they can charge a highly price on the market, we can say also that Brooklyn is growing really fast and big companies are opening offices in the borough so many of those employees are moving here because of that. All of these changes are possible thanks to the development construction busin..
